Commanding Officer Comments
Welcome back all Cadets Officers and Civilian Instructors and also parents that assist through out the year. We had a great Christmas party thanks to Midshipman (NL) Arnold and her presidency in organizing help from your Parents, and obtaining excellent results.

We have a great group of Officers and parent helpers and along with you all, a great group of Cadets all on board, thus resulting in an excellent position for up-coming squadron competition on March 4th.

We have a fantastic program set in motion for 2006 and we are all looking forward to putting our plans in action, we trust you all feel the same and are committed and will be attending extra practice scheduled events and competition!

Please remember to bring in the monies collected for the calendars and don't forget to pick up your Navy wrist bands for sale $5.00 each. As you know with the sale of calendars and wrist bands, we are preparing to order uniforms and offset camp costing therefore do your best to sell your share!

Reminder to all Cadets and Officers
when you are unable to attend scheduled events you must call C.I. (NL) Mulholland 416-225-9548.

Commanding Officer Comments
As you are aware, we have been gearing up for the Competition scheduled for 04 March 2006. I encourage your on-going efforts. Your hard work has not gone unnoticed.

I would like to take this opportunity to focus your attention on this year's fund raising efforts and our need to keep fundraising in the forefront of our minds.
Approximately $2,200.00 was raised during November Tag Days. An additional $700.00 from the sale of calendars and wrist bands brings our total fundraising efforts to $2,900.00 so far this year. Uniforms cost approximately $250.00 per cadet. We have managed to dress 35 cadets and need to dress an additional 10 Cadets at this time and growing. We will address additional need for uniforms prior to our Annual Inspection in June.

Competition and Annual Inspection are times when an emphasis is placed on having most, if not all, cadets in complete uniforms. Our fundraising efforts to date are insufficient to meet our present need for additional uniforms or our future need to offset camp costs. Suggestions and/or contributions to help off-set costs and provide additional uniforms are always welcome as we struggle to meet the financial needs of our corp. I would like to request that you come prepared to offer your suggestions at the upcoming Branch Meeting scheduled for 15 February 2006 at the Base. I thank you in advance and look forward to hearing your ideas.

    Commanding Officer Comments

We have had a lot of extra training on weekends over the past 4 months, with excellent participation from Cadets, Officers and Mr. Reynar.

My Officer's and I are very confident that with all the hard work, that hopefully this will result in placing our Corps in an excellent finish at competition. What ever positions we finish in I give my KUDOS to everyone for all the hard work and dedication.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all parents and Cadets for your Corps support, and recent donations. We are in the final stages of planning more fundraisers that will help reduce up-coming costs

We will schedule a parents meeting in early April to review, plan trips and fundraising activities, hope everyone will plan on attending.

    Commanding Officer Comments

Well it's hard to believe another year is about to come to an end and that we are in the closing month of our ship and getting ready for summer.

This month we have our *Traditional Ceremony *Annual Inspection This is the last parade day of the year. A day dedicated to all Cadets gives them the deck to show off their learned skills in front of their family and friends. We encourage everyone and their brother to show up to provide your support for our Cadets. In attendance we will have former commanding officers, former Cadets, all officers, staff, parents, staff from Ontario Division and relatives

Last year we had 200 people participating and as usual they had a terrific time, this year again we have a very special guess MPP Monte Kwinter. We are very honored that Mr. Kwinter was so impressed with our organization and community support, that he jumped at the chance to return and review our ceremony

We are looking forward to seeing everyone at our annual Inspection. We should have a parent meeting in July for those attending summer camp. In closing my staff and I wish everyone a safe and happy summer and look forward to everyone returning in Sept. Remember check our website for updated news during the summer.

    Commanding Officer Comments
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all Cadets and new comers to what should be a fun and exciting learning year at Navy League. Welcome back to all returning Officers. I will use this opportunity to offer a special welcome and thanks to A/Slt (NL) Arnold who will take the responsibility of Drill Instructor. I trust everyone had a great summer and I am looking forward to an excellent year with your help.

Enterprise Cadets and all other Corps had a great summer camp. Everyone was on their best behavior and I received compliments on our Corp from the staff of other Corps. All Cadets had loads of fun and way too much food. Enterprise Cadets won the best tent award and my division won the Best overall division award, thus paving the way to excellent results at competition. We give our Kudos to all Cadets that attended Summer camp Bravo Zulu for a great week.

School and Cadets have now started, therefore lets put our best efforts into 205-2005. Your Officers and I wish you a successful and safe year. Be smart and seamen like at all times, follow directions and you will succeed. We are watching for a new coxswain (chief) and other leading positions that are available for this year. We will discuss these positions and appoint Cadets into these positions by month ending.

    Special Invitation:
We would like to welcome all Enterprise parents in to watch our Sunset ceremony when you pick-up your Cadet on Wednesday evenings.
If you wish to attend, you must be present and available no later than 9:10PM in the lobby of the base. Your vehicle must be parked in a parking space to avoid towing charges and potential inconvenience to base facilitators and other parents. We will attempt to maintain this weekly.
Please support our efforts by complying with DND rules and regulations at all times. Ship closing time is scheduled for 9:30PM.

Tag Days last month turned out to be successfully completed with good results, great news is that we are in a position to order a few new uniforms. Please take a minute and thank your parents for helping, without their support we would not be able to Tag.
Testing is planned for this month and testing is a requirement for promotions, so make sure you are in attendance. All Officers are eager to assist in making Enterprise #1. A benchmark such as testing, sets the staging for practice.
Another very essential part to our success is Parents assistance. October 26 we sent home a few key informative forms to be filled out by your parents. Please make sure your parents receive these letters and ask them to complete and return ASAP, thank you in advance and lets keep up the great work.
Once again KUDOs to all Parents and Cadets that attended Tag Days!!!!

With the month of December now upon us and being the end of our first ½ of the parade year program, I am very pleased to announce that we have had the best first ½ of our parade year in my time with Enterprise. We have had an average 88% turn out for parade nights. We have a great group of Officers and parent helpers on board. We are in excellent positioning for up coming squadron competition in March. We would like too wish everyone a safe and happy holiday. We can not wait for the 2006 parade nights to commence. We have an excellent program set in motion and look forward to a safe returning by all!Don't forget to check us out on the web: nlccenterprise.ca Be smart and seamen like at all times:
